Engagement models

Three ways to work with me

Every model starts with a written scope. Evidence is documented and labelled as measured results, demonstrated capabilities, or targets. Pick the shape that fits where you are.

Book a call

Project

A scoped build with a written specification, fixed deliverables and a timeline.

Good fit when

You know the outcome you need: an agent, a RAG system, a fine-tuned model, an extraction pipeline.

Includes

  • Specification and architecture before code
  • Weekly preview deployments
  • Tests, CI and handover documentation
  • Two weeks of post-launch fixes

How it starts: A call, then a proposal within a week.

Retainer

A fixed number of days per month as the senior AI engineer inside your team.

Good fit when

You have a product and a team, and AI work keeps stalling for lack of a specialist.

Includes

  • Architecture and code review
  • Hands-on delivery on the hardest parts
  • Evaluation and monitoring ownership
  • Monthly written summary

How it starts: A one-month trial at the agreed cadence.

Advisory

Strategy, feasibility and architecture reviews without hands-on build.

Good fit when

You are deciding what to build, what to buy, or whether a vendor proposal holds up.

Includes

  • Written assessment and roadmap
  • Build-versus-buy options with costs
  • Evaluation plan
  • Follow-up review call

How it starts: Two to four weeks, fixed scope.

About working together

Why are there no prices here?

Because scope drives price and I would rather quote after one conversation than publish a number that fits nobody. Proposals always state a fixed figure or a day rate.

Can a project turn into a retainer?

Often. Many retainers start as a project that shipped and then needs an owner for the AI parts.

Do you work in my time zone?

I am based in India and keep at least four hours of overlap with Europe and the US east coast, more for calls when needed.

Have a problem that looks like this?

Tell me about it. I reply within one working day with a first take and no sales pitch.
